Fran Drescher’s Ex-Husband Is Gay. It Wasn’t a Big Secret

In Touch Weekly‘s “exclusive” about Fran Drescher’s ex-husband Peter Marc Jacobson, who helped created The Nanny, being gay is hardly: Jacobson has been out for years and Fran has never been shy about the sexuality of her ex, who came out after they divorced. It’s like a tabloid reporting White Collar‘s Matt Bomer is gay; yeah, duh.

The pair remain good pals, traveling and rooming together here and there. And yes, she’s met his boyfriends. But in case she wasn’t enough of a gay icon, sure, being married to and divorced from a gay guy should help up the appeal.
