Rumor has it that San Antonio-based news anchor Ross Palombo has been picked to take over CBS News on Logo after current host Jason Bellini decided to pursue other projects. Let’s hope this guy can make that show interesting, because it’s a regular snooze fest at the moment. [Towleroad]
I do think Bellini is cute. It looks like they give him a budget of $24, so it might not be his fault.
“Snooze fest” seems a bit harsh. I think someone seems a little cranky for a Tuesday morning. I’d offer a Starbucks, but several are closing near my home. Oh well. Best wishes to Jason on his new projects and good luck to the new guy.
I was working at the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center when Bellini showed up to interview folks about their “HIV is a gay disease” campaign. Frankly, he’s dumb as a box of rocks. His cameraman/producer prompted EVERY SINGLE question he asked, because he could barely put together two thoughts on his own. I was shocked at home inept he was. Clearly, he was just a pretty face shoved in front of a teleprompter. Ross will surely be an improvement.

It would be better if they used Itay Hod. He’s polished and under utilized.
