Thanks Mark! Ipanema actually made it to the list of top 10 gay beaches we ran a couple of weeks ago. This list is of all the beaches our readers thought we had left out.

Rio has two gay beaches, Copacabana (right across from the Copacabana Palace Hotel) and Ipanema (across from the Ceasar Park). Ipanema’s is much much larger and cruisier.
