PHOTOS: Pride Week has finally arrived and New Yorkers took a little time away from refreshing news feeds in search of the Supreme Court Rulings for a little R&R at this year’s Garden Party 30: A Taste of Pride. The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center Board of Directors and Executive Director Glennda Testrone invited the NYC community to Hudson River Park’s Pier 84 for the beautiful occasion.
Curated by ZAGAT, Garden Party is the only LGBT tasting festival in the country AND featured over forty restaurants and culinary destinations with samples from restaurants like Agave, Briciola, Good, KTCHN, Pounds & Ounces, and Ron Ben-Israel Cakes. Guests mingled and enjoyed the sprawling views of the Manhattan skyline at sunset while bidding on Foodies Silent Auction items and meeting local and celebrity chefs, restauranteurs, and special guests like Food Network Star’s Bob Tuschman and Sweet Genius host Ron Ben-Israel.
Happy Pride, NYC!
