It was a laughing joke over here in Wales (rumours had swirled for a decade or more) when the news broke just over a year ago BUT now Gareth is milking the ‘im gay’ headlines for all its worth….getting somewhat tedious – still,cant blame him, no doubt hes being paid handsomly by the chat shows over in the US!

@OrchidIslander: I took the snarky headline as humor, and there’s nothing wrong with humor. But in a sense, it is true. Big beefy guys, straight-looking macho bears aren’t the ones typically targetted for bullying or discrimination, according to statistics and anecdotally. That’s not to say they don’t suffer from it. So by your logic, all sports stars from Weir to the ice skating guy to the swimmer should ALL get the exact same attention if they come out.
