Gay Battle At DC Church

There’s an unholy war of words in DC, where a conservative Christian group verbally attacked a Methodist Church that recognizes gay unions. Institute on Religion and Democracy leader Mark Tooley had this to say about the Foundry United Methodist Church: “If they’re not violating the letter, they’re certainly violating the spirit of United Methodist standards. Ceremonies that celebrate homosexual unions shall not be conducted by our ministers and shall not be conducted in our churches.” Bill and Hillary Clinton attended the church while Bill ran the White House.
