Gay Blind Item Madness!

sparkmarksmall-131.jpg
Leave it to Ben Widdicombe to ask the deep questions:

Which rising country star who markets himself as straight and Southern actually has a boyfriend and is from a chilly corner of the Midwest?

We’re not country bumpkins, but we bet one of you musically-inclined kids can shed some light on this hunk a burning gay lovin’ gossip…

I can tell you for a fact that horsy-faced Randy Travis is queer, but he’s not “rising,” he’s old now. Of course, everyone knows about Kenny Chesney, but he’s not “rising” either, he’s already well-established. So… I dunno.

Oh, now. “I know for a fact”?

I know that it’s long been taken for granted that he is. I know that it’s been generally taken for granted for the longest time, including by me. But to say “I know for a fact” more or less obligates one to back up the assertion in fairly short order.

Ugh… I really want to know this one. I’m usually the only gay I know who likes country music. I feel like maybe Dierks Bentley or Blaine Larson? Although not everything really fits there. Either way, someone please figure it out?

(sadly) dierks bentley is from phoenix, az.

my guess was billy currington, but he’s not exactly a rising star, nor is the rumor of his being a big ole ‘mo very new at all.
