Hollywood’s about to have a Sapphic starlet on its hands:
Which big Hollywood actress is about to come out of the closet? She’s been living with her girlfriend in a small town, where all the neighbors know, and the two are now engaged to be married.
It’s worth noting that our gossip loving cousin Mollygood posted a picture of Queen Latifah and her unidentified lady friend. We wonder if it’s because of Latifah’s long rumored lesbian or because of the phrase “big actress”. If it’s the latter – well, that’s just rude.

since as americans we are so fascinated by other people bed fellows it would be a shock to the system.
I agree with Daniel. They should all come out in one big sweep. Without fanfare or flash, just set a date and each have their publicist release a one to three sentence statement, period.
The job of their publicists is to keep them in and their salaries high.

Jody Foster is who I think I think it may be also. All I know is if she wanted to come out of the closet, great. I just hope she wasn’t pushed into it. Lucky ladies.

Apart from general privacy, I don’t know why Jodie doesn’t come out. Unlike some gay stars whose careers might be affected, I don’t think hers would be at all. She’s not some starlet dependent on men thinking she’s available to them, and she doesn’t have a huge Christian following who would dump her, so why not just bite the bullet and get it over with?

Easy, Alexa. Once she outs herself publicly she becomes instant tabloid fodder. It’ll be Jodie’s Lover Leaves Her for Italian Dominatrix! and Jodie in Tears! and Jennifer Saves Jodie from Desperate Suicide Attempt!
Not to mention there’d be the inane Jay Leno and Kathy Griffin jokes, stupid comments from Sherri Sheppard on the View, and non-stop campaigning from HRC to get her to show up at their banquets.
Although I agree that I don’t think her acting will be affected.
