Gay Cops v. Alycia Lane

Prosecutors may have let former Philadelphia CBS anchor Alycia Lane off the hook for her assault on a “dyke bitch” cop, but New York City’s gay officers league wants to hang her out to dry. They are “outraged and deeply concerned” that people like Lane could simply be allowed to walk free. Sure, Lane’s a cooze, but this city has bigger problems… [Newsday]

Either you didn’t read the cops’ statement or you just wanted a snarky tag. They were absolutely right: No one should get away with hitting a cop and spitting out such a hateful remark. And now her lawyer’s saying she never said anything “derogatory”!

This lady of ill-repute needs to be sued for the tortuous indignity of assault and battery!

This Lane woman is nothing but a spoiled little brat.

Let you or I slap a cop, The only “get off” we’ll get is at Rikers after that accidental fall down a flight of stair.

Is it possible that long term use of coke has damaged her ability to control impulsive behaviour. Her claim that she didn’t know they were cops is irrelevant. She attacked them and insulted them. I wonder if it might have been a better idea for the cops to just shoot her?
