I smoked for 23 years, had gotten to the point I was waking up in the middle of the night needing a cigarette. New Year was my 7th anniversary smoke free. As hard as the first three years were it has been worth it. I quit and keep quitting everyday. I still miss it, but now I'd rather miss it than do it.
