Gay “Kidnap” Dad Pleads Guilty To Custodial Interference

Eric Hyett’s headed to jail.

The 37-year old first crossed our radar last month after he “absconded” to Israel with his son, a son with whom he shares custody with his estranged husband, Joshua Glazer (pictured).

Glazer and his family followed Hyett to Israel, where local officials helped reclaim the son, Jedediah, and the group soon returned to the States, where Hyett was arrested for custodial interference.

Now, rather than going to trial, Hyett, who shared his side of the story with us, pleaded guilty and will be settling into a 45-day jail sentence. Had he gone to trial and been found guilty, Hyett could have faced four years in prison.
