Natalie Portman takes aim at marriage in this month's In Style.

The 26-year old, Israel born actress tells the monthly magazine that she's "not convinced" she wants to marry, partly because of laws banning gay marriage:

I'm not convinced about marriage. Divorce is so easy, and that fact that gay people are not allowed to marry takes much of the meaning out of it. … Committing yourself to one person is sacred.

Wouldn't it be nice if politicians took Portman's words to heart? If only celebrities were the super-heroes they make themselves out to be…
