The last we heard from Grenada, they had decided to let gay cruises enter their ports… yay!(?) So what’s new from the birthplace of Federico García Lorca this tropical paradise? They just arrested a 41-year-old for having sex with a 17-year-old, or as they like to call it having an “unnatural connection.” Nevermind that the age of consent is 16. The penalty? 10 years in prison. The twist? The “unnatural connection” law doesn’t apply to women.
Wait… what about women who have anal sex with strap-ons? Does that count as “unnatural”? Damn it… misery really does love company.
Grenada: Lesbians welcome!

Yo! Correction: Lorca was born in a town outside of Granada (not Grenada) in southern Spain.

I just contacted my congresswoman. I requested that she introduce legislation to strip all PEPFAR funding from Grenada. If they are going to continue to marginalize Gay men, thus making HIV/AIDS prevention methods next to impossible, I think our Federal tax dollars for AIDS treatment/funding should go elsewhere.

I originally read this as Canada 😀
I was scared for a second.

You do realise that it’s a throwback to the Victorian times, in which Queen Victoria remarked that ladies didn’t involve themselves in same sex relationships? In fact, it’s very much the same all over the former British West Indies (it’s legal in the French and Dutch parts, and indeed the still-British territories around there).
