Gay Soldier Case Marches To Court Martial

dalton.jpg
A military magistrate has ruled that Johnny Lamar Dalton must face a court martial.

Dalton, a private first class out of Fort Bragg, stands accused of assault with a deadly weapon, general assault and “crimes against nature” after infecting his gay teenage lover with HIV.

Dalton’s forthcoming trial shouldn’t come as a surprise to him. The 25-year old military man had previously been warned to inform potential lovers of his HIV status. Obviously he didn’t listen.

As if the HIV-infection ain’t bad enough, the military strictly forbids sodomy. In fact, it may have been the gay sex that sealed the deal. Section 925, Artice 125 of Uniform Military Code reads:

(a) Any person subject to this chapter who engages in unnatural carnal copulation with another person of the same or opposite sex or with an animal is guilty of sodomy. Penetration, however slight, is sufficient to complete the offense.

(b) Any person found guilty of sodomy shall be punished as a court-martial may direct.

Can you imagine if you were straight and you missed your mark? That would be shitty.
