Gays, Las Vegas Wedding Industry Celebrate Nevada’s Domestic Partnerships

Despite having to call anti-gay wife cheater Sen. John Ensign one of its own, Nevada found one reason to smile this week: It overcame Gov. Jim Gibbons veto on a domestic partnership bill. Yes, that’s the same family values governor whose own wife is accusing him of two affairs. But enough about religious conservatives violating their marriage vows, because now the Gs and Ls have their rights, but no “M-word.” And yesterday, they celebrated.

The state with a city that promotes, “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas” and legalized prostitution has a senator who is a wife cheating prude?! Now that is ironic!
