Geeks Out, a community of LGBT sci-fi fans, is doing something original for its upcoming benefit: They’ve asked artists to donate artwork inspired by actress and ally Sigourney Weaver for Dream Weaver, an art auction being held Thursday night in New York. (Proceeds from admission and sales will benefit Geeks OUT’s outreach and activist efforts.)
We’ve included a selection of works that will be on display, depicting Weaver’s roles in Aliens, Ghostbusters, Snow White: A Tale of Terror and other memorable films. (What, no Half Moon Street?)
With Sigourney currently on Broadway in the uproarious Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, she might just show up to snatch some artwork herself!
Dream Weaver is 7-10pm on Thursday, April 4, at 296 Ninth Avenue.
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.

Gozer was played by Slavitza Jovan, not Sigourney Weaver, art dude.
