  JUST SAY TAKEI

George Takei Selflessly Gives Himself Over To All Of Tennessee

George Takei knows about Tennessee’s asinine “Don’t Say Gay” bill and even though the bill won’t pass until at least 2012, he still has a happy solution if it does pass. It involves putting a part of him in your mouth though. Did we also mention that Takei has become one of our favorite viral video stars for dressing up like Spiderman to show us his package and calling bigoted school board member Clint McCance “a total douchebag” who “will likely get caught with a rentboy from some South American country”? Oh yes…

No. 4 · Tekei and Proud!!!

I have been Tekei since I was a little boy watching Star Trek on syndicated television after the Saturday morning cartoon went off. When I went through puberty and being in middle school, I told no one that I was Tekei because I was popular and was afraid that I would be made fun of. I had a girlfriend in middle school and she and I stay boyfriend and girlfriends until after high school. She went to my middle school, but different high schools. She and I went off to college together and I wanted to tell her that I was Tekei. I felt that she would understand because she was an Engineering major and I thought that it wouldn’t be an issue. She became member of NSBE (National Society of Black Engineers) and I was president of the College of Arts and Sciences.. this I achieved as a sophomore. I was also in a fraternity… ~kai~!!!

She and I broke up for good that summer of my sophomore year and the next year I found the courage to start telling people that I was Tekei. My friends told me that they already knew because of my Star Trek items in my apartmetn and the rumors that I would sneak into Star Trek conventions.

So after all that turmoil and confusion… Things have gotten better!!

I am proud to be Tekei!!! :)
