Georgetown Gay Basher Gets Three Years

This is a travesty. A little under three years for killing a man? And with good behavior, he will probably be out in 18 months. This is justice being served?

yessir, this is a travesty.
but take some small comfort in the fact that this wasn’t a murder — no one died. a 3-year sentence isn’t all that unusual for an aggravated assault (here because an object was used). it’s a sad reality in a system of prison overcrowding.
