The proposed L-Word spin-off ain’t the only gay thing Showtime plans on showing. The network has signed Toni Collette up for The United States of Tara, which features a gay 15-year old. Meanwhile, the Edie Falco starring dark comedy, Nurse Jackie will include Haaz Sleiman as a gay Muslim, the only one on television. Plus, he’s fine as shit. [AfterElton]

Weeds has a gay character? I stopped watching after the first few episodes, so I have to plead ignorance here.
i dont think the character on weeds is a Muslim. Im pretty sure hes probably Buddhist.
The other SHO show that had a gay muslim character was The Cell but they killed his ass off for being a Gay Muslim Terrorist (mostly for the latter).
