Interesting that this doesn't garner as much interest as Matthew Mitcham's win. Is this because it is taken for granted that a woman who is an accomplished athlete is potentially lesbian, much the same way an out gay male hairdresser wouldn't surprise too many people? Just curious. In any case congratulations to them all, for their athletic achievements and for being out while achieving them! They're doing a world of good, not just for the GLBT community.
