Says Choi of her candidacy: Some ask if a divorced lesbian is qualified as a lawmaker. The phrase,” deal with them properly.” has a feeling of objectification, which seems strange. It’s certainly not a fact, from my own experience, that queers deal fairly with their own kind. Quite the contrary, sometimes. Certainly , of course, that would not be her major job, but maybe a part of it.

South Korea? Not gonna happen. They’re one of the most homophobic places in Asia, and that’s saying something.
