Give Carly Rae Jepson a bit of time.
She’s Canadian, and in Canada, the Boyscouts organization does NOT discriminate against LGBT members. This MAY be news to her, it may be something she’s not expecting.

They can have CRJ as long as the hot guy on the video of Call Me Maybe ends up reenacting the scene where the guy wanted another guy instead of CRJ.
This should live be on stage and in front of all the boy scouts!

The boy scouts are being trained to be SWAT teams now and fight enemies for homeland security. Lovely. The new merit badge will be for being an, “Explorer.” The FBI and government is behind this militarization of the scouts. Mormons are entwined as well. Mama, don’t let your babies grow up to be boy scouts.

Hopefully the BSA will change their archaic policy. When I was a scout, I definitely remember that homosexuality was technically not allowed…hopefully things will change.
And as someone else pointed out, perhaps CRJ didn’t know about the policy since she is from Canada…like I’ve said in other posts, I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt.

The SCOTUS said that as a private organization the BSOA can discriminate. THAT SAID, it doesn’t mean you won’t experience repercussions for embracing bigotry. Just like Westborough Baptist Church has freedom of speech to say what they want,it doesn’t mean they wont face the repercussions in that they are isolated from the community as pariahs. Lets hope Kepsen will respond in kind with Train. I don’t want to have to delete my Call Me, Maybe video from YouTube. Lol.
