As anyone who watched channel 5 in NYc knew since 1980, Sam was one of us. In the Stonewall parade and the discos, he was a very obvious presence.

Don’t pick on Robin Roberts right now, she’s recovering from her bone marrow transplant. Give her time to recover, then you can start up again. Sheesh.
