“Good Poof” Fights Back

Briton Ben Hamilton told a a court he was forced out of his job at a BMW retailer after his colleagues tormented him for being go. In addition to calling him a “good poof” and “Bender Ben,” Hamilton’s colleagues also allegedly banned him from wearing pink shirts and mocked his love of Elton’s John, whose music they labeled “crap”. That summation lent itself quite nicely to a workmates alleged snide: “But surely you boys are used to that, being in the same club. Come on, Ben, crap is an occupational hazard for you boys.” That’s not discriminatory! That’s a fact. Everything else? Yeah, sounds kind of discriminatory. [Daily Mail]
