Goodness, NOM’s Bus Tour Audience Sure Knows A Lot About Gay Sex And ‘Disease Carrying Threats’

I do love that the Courage Campaign’s Prop 8 Trial Tracker didn’t have to look far to find supporters of the National Organization for Marriage’s Iowa bus tour describing in detail what two gays do in the bedroom. My favorite is Ron, who argues gays are “a drain on our society,” and keeps repeating “homosexuality has not produced one child, not one.” [Prop 8 Trial Tracker]

Well break out the bubbly, hoist up the rainbow flag and celebrate an intelligent statement – -“homosexuality has not produced one child, not one.”

Well duh mate – – two guys aren’t going to make a baby, but ya know what, if one of them does find a female surrogate, then lo ‘n behold, a gay man will make a baby.

Your entire argument about the sanctity of marriage and making babies as an argument against gay marriage are old, tired and used up. And by the way, how do you know so much about what two guys or two ladies do in the bedroom? Huh? Been watching some of that Titan porn or bisexual stuff?

      Sheesh….

By denying two people of the same sex the right to marry each other, do these people assume that, given no alternative, we will suddenly turn to heterosexual marriage as our only option and start producing and raising children?

The “need to populate our country” disappeared long ago. Through our ingenuity, we have removed nearly every means of population control nature provided in much of the world (disease, famine, drought, war), and consequently the number of people in the US and worldwide continues to increase exponentially. At the same time, our base instincts ensure that we continue to recklessly reproduce, oftentimes with the inane argument this man makes (that we have to “produce soldiers and taxpayers”). I would argue that same-sex marriages and heterosexual marriages that do not produce children do and will do more good for the world than heterosexual couples spewing out children.

And never mind all the homosexuals who have served (closeted) in the military, or who hold jobs as public servants or in essential services, and all those gays paying taxes, spending money on travel, recreation, homes, food, luxury items, and countless other things–just like everyone else. Nope, they haven’t contributed a thing!

“Homosexuality has not produced one child, not one”

Which is why we are NOT a drain on society, unlike you, you raging moron.

Jeez, how do these people not see the utter illogic of their own positions?

I think the scariest thing about this entire interview is the fact that so many other people in this country can relate to what this poor guy is saying. Forget America’s gay problem, I think America has an intellect problem.

@Tricky: True, and part and parcel of the same thing. If Americans didn’t have a such a problem with being educated, they wouldn’t have such a problem with The Gays.

He certainly seems obsessed by the gays “entertaining themselves sexually”. Jealous?

By his logic infertile people shouldn’t be able to get married because they aren’t replenishing the soliders and tax payers. And is this really a concern we have? This isn’t Russia or North Korea where you have children to serve the country.

Yeah, we just adopt your abandoned children. And raise them in loving, supportive, stable families. Thereby counteracting the drain you and your ilk create on society.

We’re not a 35,000 strong tribe fighting for our survival in the desert 2,500 years ago. We really don’t need to worry about running out of soldiers. Even the ones who choose to engage in “military activities” so they can “entertain themselves that way.” lol.

This guy is seriously lacking in intellect and logic. Sad.
