That last story about gays using blogs provides a great segue into this story about the Pentagon's Machiavellian media machinations.
David Barstow's penned a mammoth article this weekend on how White House and Pentagon officials deployed new networks' "military analysts" to spread state-sponsored propaganda. And it's pretty startling…
The report comes after the NY Times sued the Pentagon for access to over 8,000 pages of evidence proving a dangerous, frightening link between our government and media "surrogates. More than that, many of the analysts had direct business relations with military contractors and other corporations profiting from the war.
Again, the entire piece is ridiculously lengthy, but here are two telling snippets:
Some network officials, meanwhile, acknowledged only a limited understanding of their analysts’ interactions with the administration. They said that while they were sensitive to potential conflicts of interest, they did not hold their analysts to the same ethical standards as their news employees regarding outside financial interests.
…
Internal Pentagon documents repeatedly refer to the military analysts as “message force multipliers” or “surrogates” who could be counted on to deliver administration “themes and messages” to millions of Americans “in the form of their own opinions.”
There go those theories about gays and Jews controlling the media…
Oh, it should come as no surprise to hear that Fox News had the most tainted analysts, while NBC and CNN came in second and third.

This article is worth the read. The warmongers are not only double dipping but they are triple and quadruple dipping. You will not see this information on the news as it is about what a group of fucking liars they are.

Well I don't know about the robot accusations, but one of my friends who is a legacy grad from SMU said her father informed her that Laura had quite the weed hook up during her undergrad days.
