What a truly lame article and shoddy journalism. Waste of time.
Daez
@JD: QT is NOT a news site. It is an entertainment site. If you want a news site go to MSNBC or CNN. I found some of these remotely funny, especially the Tom Cruise one.
Hank
I must admit, the Tom Cruise one was pretty funny. He does keep harping on about those stunts, doesn’t he.

Frank Ocean on grindr. Howl.. Of course this is a fairy tale. BGCLive.com, maybe.

HI, It’s these types of articles that add to the stereotypes of the caddy-ness of the gay culture. Yes, it’s “silly” but this site can be so much better. Can you please hire people who are clever and smart writers with ideas that are actually entertaining to read? I am an active reader and really think this site deserves a better product.
brad
This is hilarious! The Anderson Cooper one seems spot on!
Glenn
Wow, if u call this “entertainment” I feel sorry for y’all. When I read the headline, I cringed. As w/ the Funnie or Die baby Video, ur editorial staff has a TERRIBLE SENSE of humor and poor taste. If this continues, I’m going to have to cancel any subscrption and maybe even write to the advertisers “who” support this crap.
Sailor vet
@Daez: LOL PMSNBC?! The channel that INTENTIONALLY edits news to create a new narrative? Or the “Big Brother is watching you” eyeball channel? I don’t trust any of them for news.

Please spare me your small-minded, US-celebrity-obsessed twaddle. Jesus, you make me ashamed! PLEASE remove my name from anything you’ve tarnished with your cyber-touch!
Danny
This is sooo stupid.

Can’t we just forget about Tom Cruise? As far as the gay community goes, he’s a has-been who never was and didn’t want to be. I won’t like him any better if he ever “comes out.” His homophobia is poisonous.
Philip
Queerty, I have been waiting patiently for you to post an article that has some substance. My patience is waning. There are a lot of us out and proud Queer folk who actually, have a mind, and care about things, important issues, especially in these times. Is this how we are to be portrayed as a bunch of mindless idiots who are more interested in the lives of friggin’ celebrities than real people? I don’t give a damn about the sexuality of anyone, least of all those in the tabloids. Please, rather than spending time on such empty useless topics, is there any chance that at least one or two of you have some depth, and cater to those of us who would appreciate it? That way, at least we would have a balance between both serious and fluff. I too am on the brink of cancelling my subscription.
Paul Keenan
Thank you , Philip and the others….what a lame, idiotic article this was!

SPAM here we come!

The fact that there are so many flaming comments about reporting real issues makes me laugh. Isn’t it nice to enjoy the freedom to read whatever you want to? A bit of lighthearted fun in the midst of so many real issues is exactly what entertainment zines aim to create, no? I’d wager that the onset of cattiness here is just because of the disappointment you lot felt when you read that the profiles are fake. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the article for what it is… Otherwise, there are tons of hard hitting stories and issue discussions on other sites. You have a choice. 🙂

It seems some of you are taking umbrage with the editors of this site for having articles like this one. Lets lighten up and enjoy a littl.e fluff!. Therefore, I would like to add a little superficiality to this subject by abeting this matter in asking for more celebs to come ‘out’ and not hide behind a plethora of ‘swinging’ door ‘beards!’ Especially the ones who like to be coy about their sexuality. MY theory is that they are not so much afraid of losing their fan base as they are afraid of losing their image of appealing to both sexes! Thus they have their cake and ‘eat’ it to! (Just say’en).
