Gus Van Sant’s Tom Wolfe Adaptation Is Coming. Someday!

gusvansant

Remember way back in 2007 when we first heard about Gus Van Sant adapting Tom Wolfe’s The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test for the cinema? And that Dustin Lance Black would be writing the screenplay? And then for the past two years we’ve been hearing the same repeated news out of Hollywoodland? And then we heard this month that we should be expecting Woody Harrelson and Jack Black’s names above the title? Well this is, apparently, still making news. Somebody please wake us when the premiere is here.

@John from England(used to be just John but there are other John’s): Heath Ledger is dead so it wouldn’t be surprising if they’ve recast the role.

@John from England(used to be just John but there are other John’s):

Unlike Mr Ledger I would like to see Jack Black dead. Someone wake me when he does an entertaining film.
