ANTI-CYBERBULLYING

Hacktivists To Revenge-Porn Scumbag Hunter Moore: You’re Going Down

Hacktivist group Anonymous have set their cyber sights on front-runner for Worst Person of All Time Hunter Moore.

Moore founded the revenge porn site, IsAnyoneUp.com, where users uploaded naked pictures of men and women without their permission, which Moore posted with links to their social networking profiles.

Amidst a storm of controversy, Moore sold the site to an anti-bullying charity in April but now he has plans to reboot with a new site that he initially claimed would include the physical addresses of the victims.

“We’re gonna introduce the mapping stuff so you can stalk people,” Moore told Betabeat, adding, “I know–it’s scary as shit.”

Moore later clarified in an interview with Salon that he was “drunk and coked out” when he said that (pillar of society, he is) and that he’d only reveal the addresses of people who personally “wrong” him.

Well, Anonymous is having none of that. They posted the following video, vowing to hold Moore accountable.

“We will protect anyone who is victimized by abuse of our internet, we will prevent the stalking, rape, and possible murders as byproduct of his sites.”

They added, rather ominously, “Operation Anti-Bully. Operation Hunt Hunter engaged. We are Anonymous, we are legion, we do not forgive, we do not forget. Hunter Moore, expect us.”

To prove they’re not effing around, Anoynomus has since published some of Moore’s own personal information to see how he likes it, including the names of family members and his home address. They’ve also published the personal info of Andrew Myers, the proprietor of IsAnyoneBack.com, a copycat of Moore’s original site.

So for anyone that’s sent out a naked pic of yourself (read: everyone), Anoymous has your unclothed back.
