Fallen Evangelical leader Ted Haggard fell a little farther this week: "The relationship between Ted Haggard the Colorado Springs mega-church he founded is over, according to a statement from New Life Church this evening… In its statement Tuesday night, church officials said, 'New Life recognizes the process of restoring Ted Haggard is incomplete and maintains its original stance that he should not return to vocational ministry. However, we wish him and his family only success in the future.'" Apparently they place no guarantee on their defagification. [Denver Post]

"Defagification"… hilarious!
If he files for divorce get ready to receive another reality based 'Mo.
The last line in the article intrigues me:
"Haggard also irritated New Life leaders by requesting donations to support him and his family while he got a degree in counseling at the University of Phoenix. The donations were to be collected by Families with a Mission, a Monument non-profit run by Paul Huberly, a twice-convicted registered sex offender."
Contiinual "christian" hogwash….and America is full of them!!
I am a Christian who believes that gay people are born that way, not indoctrinated. I have a sister who's gay and she's been that way forever. And I love her for being honest. She's my big sis, ya know? (And my VERY Christian and VERY Republican parents love her and her partner too – no matter what – family is family, right?)
The main thing I hate about TH is that he's lying. To himself, to his family, to the public. I would respect him MORE if he just came out. It would let his wife have some dignity at least and she could move on. I don't dislike him because he's gay, he didn't choose that – I dislike him because he's a liar, and he chooses to be a liar.
