Abracadabra! Vegas magician Hans Klok dispelled any illusions about his sexuality in this month's Q Vegas.
The 38-year old Dutch man, whose The Beauty of Magic show features the ever-buxom Pamela Anderson, tells the glossy, "I'm proud about who I am. I don't want to lie." So, why did Klok tell Howard Stern earlier this year that he's straight? QVegas helps explain:
Despite his previous success as an openly gay performer, Klok says that several people, including Anderson, advised him to hide his sexual orientation until he was better known in the U.S.
…
So, just a few days after [his show] opened on June 1st, Klok told The Howard Stern Show that he was straight."I wasn't thinking that I was going to tell Howard Stern that," he said. "He asked me if I fucked hits person, that person, if I was heterosexual. He surprised me."
The story spread across the world and Klok soon began playing it up: he and Anderson intimated that they "got physical" back stage. Apparently Klok wasn't content with keeping his illusions on stage. So, now that he's out, will Klok and Anderson can their on-stage chemistry. Probably not.
Oh, and for those of you who wish Klok would reach out and grab ya, he's been in a relationship for sixteen years. Unless you can make him disappear, keep dreaming.

Congratulations to his married spouse – he is Dutch – dare I mention it, one of the five nations in the world with marriage equality – that he is gay.
(I can just see the fingers doing mile a minute tapping that they are not married. I don't know other than the fact that they could if they wanted to marry legally. It is the right and not the requirement to marry, although I believe in the commitment.)
Living in the closet in Vegas….like the tiger men, Siegfried and Roy. It was an open secret that they were once a couple and then kept their professional relationship and friendship living together but apart.
Howard Stern is many things, and I will refrain in going further. Pamela Anderson must have set that up, without a doubt. That is her venue.
Who cares if they aren't married, "Rev?" I'm so sick of the obsession with marriage as the be-all, end-all of love. Fuck that shit.
Hey Rev, do you have to comment on every post?
Don't listen to that Bostonian, Rt. Rev! Keep your comments coming. I love them. As for you, "That Guy," I'd love for you to comment more, but don't pick on others. That's my job.
Kisses to all,
AB
I meant no offense. apologies if anyone was offended.
No offense taken. Respectfully, I will accept Andrew's invitation. Love Boston. Nigel was born and raised in Plymouth MA and went to school in Cambridge.
I particularly like the old ditty: Welcome to Boston, the land of the bean and the cod, where the Lowells speak only to the Cabots and the Cabots speak only to God….
The Maritimes are only the UEL extension of New England LOL.
(UEL = United Empire Loyalists is the opposite number of the Sons and Daughters of the Revolution.
We are those with ancestors who wished to remain loyal to George Hanover III.
So Pamela Anderson thinks it is better to be in the closet rather than out of the closet. She suggests that one wait until they have established themselves in their chosen field before they come out. This is kind of like her having breast implants and then removing them after she achieved whatever it is she has achieved. She is a homophobe. She is perpetuating the mechanisms in our society that oppress homosexuals. This magician is starving for attention/celebrity and will compromise who he is to get it.
All bad players here. – Where are the good examples for the GLBT community? I think that they are not the subjects of news or blogs. “sighâ€
hmm, well my ancestors were hiding in the trees taking pot-shots at the british. A trait that hasn't really been diluted much in the ensuing generations.
:-)
So were Nigel's ancestors, probably the same bush, while mine were phalanxed in red waistcoat.
This generation, it is love and not war we're engaged in…..and despite our family, we did not hiding in any bush I am aware of :)
Same acts, different result, eh?
Absolutely. I suppose I reacted the way I did due to the fact of my father being a reverend as well..and you know how fathers and sons can be.
Ah, a genuine PK, eh? Understand :) – every conversation with dad is either a homily or sermon. Can you share what denomination?
the right rev is a bore
He's cute.
And Yay!
I agree with Walker's analysis and further it by saying that… of course! Otherwise, her beauty doesn't have the same currency.
You may be a very nice person and absolutely exciting read, Puddy Katz, bur I am verklempt, and can't tell from your lengthy and well-worded missive.
As I said in my (October 18th) post about this, there are far more important things to know about Hans Klok.
First and foremost being, he's not very exciting or even interesting.
PS. Walker, it is a total non-issue. This "news" got about 1 1/2 inch on the bottom of page 16 in Holland.
Apparently he's not sure what the response will be in America, because "(a)fter all, this isn't The Netherlands."
