Putting aside my total personal hate for the Rev Jackson (he mistook my for a street rat during a rally back in the 80’s, called me on stage, and made me chant “I Am! Somebody!” along with a lovely collection of thugs, stoners, and teen-age runaways. Then he gave us all t-shirts. I will never, ever forgive him) – using “acting white” as a derogatory term is, in fact, an insult to all of us.
