• Maroon 5’s Adam Levine on being gay: “I’m not into dick. I wish I were. It would be so much easier. Because, you know, men have a certain camaraderie with each other that’s easygoing and kind of simple, when you think about it.” Then why are all gay relationships so dramatic?

hey ! speak for yourselves, guys. i’m with levine on this one. allowing for my earliest, immature relationship, all my others have not been dramatic at all but more in the relaxed camraderie category… and i can’t be that special.
maybe everything just seems a little dramatic after all that lucas-inspired frenzy .. haha.. time for a drink and a relaxing weekend. skoal !

Adam Levine …what a breath of fresh air! It’s so nice to see a straight male talk so openly about his perceptions on what he might be like if her were gay and his open attitude (and security with himself???) about males he might find attractive and “into” if he were gay. To not hear the usual “I’m-not-into-dick… not-that-there’s- anything-wrong-with-that” crap and giving honest, open and non-p;ussed thoughts from a straight male is really a rare (and wonderful) thing. Way to go, Adam. Love your music, BTW!

Funny, I thought the Adam Levine interview was total crap. Just another gay rag pandering to a straight person, while he pontificates on something he clearly knows nothing about.

I read the “Advocate” interview of Adam Levine and thought what Paul said…who cares and why he is offering suggestions and comments on stuff he hasn’t a clue….I found it amusing at the end of the interview it was disclosed he is child hood friends with Jake Gyllenhaal….interesting…..and yes, my Gaydar went off and wondered about the two of them…..his response to the question as to why he doesn’t hang out with Jake and Jake’s other two lovers…Matt McCaugheny (forgive the bad spelling) and Lance Armstrong is that he doesn’t cycle.

Michael says:
“his response to the question as to why he doesn’t hang out with Jake and Jake’s other two lovers…is that he doesn’t cycle.”
Is that what the kids are calling it these days? ]8^)
Funny though, all four look like the town bike.
bosworth, thanks for the good news! Glad to see those jerks unemployed.
However, this is like Details magazine all over again. Details didn’t care about the GLBT community being upset about them ridiculing gays with their “Gay, or…” feature, until the Asian community got offended over the “Gay, or Asian” issue.
