Happy Silence.

Right-wing groups like the Catholic League and the American Family Association, which just launched a Hallmark boycott, have been surprisingly quiet about People magazine’s Ellen and Portia gay marriage cover. This brings a smile to journo Jeff Bercovici’s otherwise stony face. [Mixed Media]

How many times does it have to be said, there is no Catholic GROUP called the Catholic League. It is one man getting a ton of publicity.

I am starting something called the Nellie Queen Brigade and will issue statements in the name of all gay men. Don’t bother to sign up, a one person membership is enough to get media attention.

I was just at the Catholic Leagues website and it does seem pretty legit. But there is no mention of the Hallmark Boycott.

Can I please join the Nellie Queen Brigade though? Sounds like fun!

:-)

Why they try boycotting food and drink for a couple of weeks? Do the world some good.
