Harold Ford Jr. Not Equipped (Willing?) To Talk About The ‘Issues’

“The interview – granted under the condition that the questions be limited to his rationale for running, and not issues – comes at the end of a rocky first week of buzz surrounding his potential candidacy.” That’s Daily News reporter David Saltonstall explaining why his interview with Harold Ford Jr. didn’t include any statements from the Senate candidate on, you know, stuff that freakin’ matters

Um…..supposedly people run for office because they feel that they have answers to the issues of the day. If he is unwilling to discuss the issues then there is absolutly no reason to vote for the guy. It would be like somebody applying for a job and refusing to show you their resume.

Harold Ford Junior will never poll, or win above 20% of the New York Vote because Al Sharpton has made it a race on Race! Democrats would be wise to run away from the “Tennessee Prince of running for office” as he is political poison to voters who are increasingly anti-incumbency and the more he hangs with the “Ship of Fools” the further he will sink the S.S. Democrat, statewide and federally!

You can’t sink a sunk ship. The Democrats have no one to blame but themselves. They managed to piss off people across the political spectrum. Some was unavoidable such as the irrational, and imbecilic tea party goers. Some was avoidable such as those of us who are gay.

The Democrats have demonstrated that their primary difference with the Republican gang is the inability to make a decision. The voters including all but the most hardcore hollow log gay voters (a.k.a. Jewish Nazis) gave them absolute control of Congress and the White House. They completely squandered that brief trust. The Republicans made years of stupid decisions executed poorly, but the Democrats cannot even get that far. Health care is on the brink of complete failure. The only thing gay voters have to show for their money and time is that the ban on HIV positive travelers from outside the U.S. Even that got through only by riding another unrelated bill.

I made my last campaign contribution last night to the party effort to keep the seat in Massachusetts in Democratic hands because there was a slim chance of winning and postponing the inevitable day of reckoning in D.C. This is in a state where Democrats outnumber Republicans 2 to 1. The Democrats were toasting assumed victory while a lying sack of Republican shit was gathering support quietly and voila, he leads the race.

I am about ready to pull out my original birth certificate walk into the British consulate and begin singing God Save the Queen. At least the Labour party didn’t throw us completely under the bus the way Obama and the Democraps have.
