… isn’t it pretty obvious? He most likely didn’t have the financial resources to get his own stage set. I’d imagine the
filming in classrooms was done late at night or on weekends when
the classrooms were empty, with next to no chance of anyone coming by. Hopefully, he had some people working as lookouts, although you wouldn’t see them in the videos.
During my senior year in college a few students wanted some help studying for their final exams, so we went into one of the classrooms on a weekend or some other time when nothing was happening and had the whole building to ourselves – we went there so we’d have a blackboard. I figured that explaining the material to them was a good way of studying anyway – you really have to know the material to teach it – but for this discussion, the fact that we saw nobody else is what is relevant.
