  COUNTDOWN TO REPEAL

HBO Wants You To Celebrate The DADT Repeal By Reliving The Horrors Of DADT

To celebrate the end of the gay military ban tomorrow, HBO will show The Strange History of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”, a documentary where you’ll get to hear old-timey legislators talk about how homos will destroy the military and headless service members confess the indignities of being outed by fellow troops. It was produced by Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato from World of Wonder, the same fellows who brought you RuPaul’s Drag Race and Chopped Off: The Man Who Lost His Penis.

I saw this at the premier last week in San Franciso. It’s a very good documentary. Not sure why the writer of this post is trying to be snarky. Or is that just the intended tone of this blog?

The horrors was keeping DADT on the books for 17 years. I saw the documentary yesterday I thought it has good historical value and put together very well. *APPLAUSE*
