“He wanted a chance to fall in love and he wanted people to know someone who had HIV”

pedro-zamora1

“He could communicate like those people like Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton, these people that know how to communicate. He’s one of those people. I think that was a lot of the success he had was his ability to cut through and communicate to all kinds of audiences. And he had an ability to adjust his message – the presentation of his message – to different audiences and be very effective.” —The Real World producer Jon Murray on deceased castmember Pedro Zamora [Greg In Hollywood]

This “documentary” should have been realeased in the 90′s. It feels irrelevant in a way after seeing so many gay and transgender people on T.V. nowadays. But at least they are trying.

WOW

I was not one of the complainers at the previous format change, but holy FUCK this is HIDEOUS

I realize it’s probably a decision made by Jossip rather than Queerty’s editors, so bitching here is a little pointless, but…

WOW

It’s HIDEOUS

I am posting this comment on a random article in the top row because I can’t find my way around well enough to locate the relevant place.

Oh, it’s not. It’s not a documentary like I thought it was….that’s an actor. Shouldn’t this entry include that bit of information?

What’s worse — the new Facebook layout or the new Queerty layout?

Pedro Zamora struck me as one of those people who have to die young because they’re too beautiful and too kind to stick around with the rest of us.

I agree with other complaints about the new format…I’m sure I’ll get used to it but I had been a staunch supporter of Huffpost and read it everyday until they changed formats. I just never could adjust and so finally gave up. I only visit that site occasionally.
