Hey Boys, Get Outta That Fucking Kitchen!
A reader just sent us this article about the recall on Hasbro’s ever-popular Easy-Bake Oven. While we’re not really that concerned with the recall itself, we raise our eyebrows (and so does the aforementioned reader) over the piece’s opening statement:
Lots of young girls have an Easy-Bake Oven, or have a friend who has one. Now, Easy-Bake Ovens that have been sold since last May are being recalled because a girl can burn her hands on them.
We hope it didn’t tarnish their polish!
Although, to be fair, the article took on a more genderless tone after their disproportionately large survey box asking, “Have you been affected by the recall?” We answered “no”. (Read the headline.)
it sounds like rev ted’s easy bake oven has been recalled which mean no more hot fingers from mike jones.

Actually, I always had a Creepy Crawler oven, which is like the same thing but for boys.
