The “family values” Republican House Majority leader in Indiana resigned suddenly Tuesday after he managed to text his entire contacts list a video of himself in a sexually compromised position with someone other than his wife.
Now-former Representative Jud McMillin has built a political career as a social conservative. He’s one of the guys who shouts about protecting “the integrity of the institution of marriage,” and cosponsored his state’s religious freedom law.

McMillin then decided to complete the “blithering conservative caught with his pants down” charade by resigning with a statement that read the “time is right for me to pass the torch and spend more time with my family.”
It would be satisfying if it wasn’t so predictable.

The amazing this is that sending a video of himself committing adultery to all of his contacts is the LEAST of his offensive and unethical deeds. If his family wasn’t politically connected and able to get him out of trouble he would have done time in jail on at least two occasions.
1. In high school he was playing a high speed game of “leapfrog” on the highway with a friend, which ended up killing two people, one of whom was a pregnant woman.
2. He was kicked out of his first college for stealing money from the baseball team.
3. While a Prosecutor, he initiated an affair with a client, pressuring her to commit perjury to get her husband jailed.
4. Funneled government contracts to a business he had a financial interest in.
5. Took pics of himself with a sex toy in his rectum, at the same time he was railing against gays politically.
6. Committed adultery again, this time sending video of the act to everyone on his contact list.
In other words, this guy is a real piece of work, lying, stealing, cheating, and blatantly unethical while posing as a holier than thou Christian politician. A former classmate described McMillan as “Like Draco Malfoy (from Harry Potter), but without the good looks and with a worse attitude.”
