Once in a great while we come across a story so impossibly ironic, twisted and astounding that we simply can't find the words:
A Roman Catholic priest and former chaplain at the Naval Academy who is HIV-positive is expected to plead guilty Thursday to exploiting his position of authority to have sexual relations — both forced and consensual — with male service members, according to military officials and sources familiar with the case.
What!? A priest with HIV having sex with service members? Doesn't get any more scandalous than that, right? Wrong:
Lt. Cmdr. John Thomas Lee, 42, came into contact with some of his alleged victims, including gay midshipmen, after they were referred to him for counseling under the military's "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy on homosexuality, sources said.
Wait, wait – this HIV positive military priest allegedly raped/fucked servicemen who were sent to counseling under a law prohibiting openly homosexuality? You can't make this stuff up.
The allegations against Lee go all the way back to 2003. The 42-year old faces life imprisonment for a litany of offenses: "aggravated assault, indecent assault, fraternization, forcible and consensual sodomy, and conduct unbecoming an officer." And especially unbecoming a catholic priest officer.

Anglican canon law has always followed the Eastern Orthodox in making priestly celibacy a voluntary act. Further, Anglicanism was first in allowing bishops to marry as well.
It is common knowledge that the Romans have always had a third or more of its clergy either celibate or "active" gays who had relationships with adults. This must be divided from those priests who are either paedophiles or teen abusers.
There is no defence for the criminal, immoral and inappropriate behaviours perpetrated by this priest. There is equally no defence for DADT and forcing gay and lesbian military from marching to a different drummer.
The other day, I heard a "top Pentagon official" agree with McCain and other GOP hopefuls, that the reality of openly LG military in Canada and many nations of the European Union and in Latin America should not affect the "unit cohesion in the US Armed Forces."
So much for logic, eh!

gay Anglican priests are open in their sexuality, or can even date or marry those of their gender? The answer would be, unless you are the bishop of New Hampshire, practically no one….the closet still remains pretty firmly shut in the Anglican Communion…and most gay Anglican priests remain celibate because their own hierarchy will not tolerate it.
Oh! a fag place! Don't tell anyone! Any fag with aids should be shot or put to sleep permanently just for this reason!

As a Navy Chaplain for so long, I wouldnt' think it would be that hard to find a photo….
So much for possible life imprisonment, he only got two years….
