Homo Loving Mormons Forced Out
Mormon Peter Danzig came under fire after defending a pro-gay professor. As the Church of Latter-Day Saints mulled what to do with Danzig – whom they asked to support an anti-gay marriage amendment – he and his wife decided to jump ship: “I was troubled that my church requested I violate my own conscience to write in support of an amendment I feel is contrary to the constitution and to the gospel of Christ.” Heavenly! The LDS church makes a big effort to emphasize the concept of “free agency”, the rights and responsibility it involves. Yet they have no tolerance for a difference of opinion, much less dissent. Either get in lock step, or be crushed by the growing horde of the faithful. It’s a little creepy and Twilight Zone here in Salt Lake City. It’s frustrating and comical at the same time.

the mormons dont surprise me anymore after my experience,my mother passed away and they offered to pay for the funeral as she was one of the first members of the local branch(65years) and when the bill was sent to them,$1200 they refused to pay.this was a women who had the church elders in our home weekly for meals,knitted jumpers for them for winter and taught sunday school regularly.i cannot bad mouth them enough.HOW PROUD THE WAGGA WAGGA BRANCH OF AUSTRALIA MUST FEEL!!!
