Homophobes Say The Darndest Things!
A Free Republic reader has some queer theories on Larry Craig’s lewd conduct arrest:
Ok, here is my latest conspiracy theory… enjoy!Homosexuals are deliberately infiltrating the GOP so they can say either (1) See, we’re gay and we’re Republicans, too! or (2) They can claim to be anti-homosexual agenda politicians, and then when they are caught, it makes the GOP look like the party of hypocrites.
Either way it advances the homosexual agenda.
Please, you think we gays want a man like Larry Craig furthering our mythical agenda? You conservacunts are crazier than we thought!
Ok, who didn’t see this coming? Social conservatives are going to start spinning every “gay scandal” to be a result of the growing power of the homosexual menace on society. People like Ted Haggard, Mark Foley, Bob Allen, and now Larry Craig are going to be portrayed as good family men that would never have gone astray had it not been for court decisions like Lawrence v. Texas, and the growing acceptance of homosexuality.
Think it is far fetched? Remember back in October 2001, when the standard bearer for the moron majority, Pat Robertson, blamed America’s acceptance of homosexuality for 9/11? These people will say anything to demonize us because once America makes it to complete acceptance of LGBT persons social conservatives lose their scapegoat. No scapegoat means that sooner or later people will realize who is really responsible for the evils that plague this country. And it isn’t those of us that live and love in the manner we were made.

Heather, Robertson agreed with the statement, but it was good old Jerry Falwell who actually said the 9/11 attacks were caused by caused by “pagans, abortionists, feminists, gays, lesbians, the American Civil Liberties Union and the People For the American Way.”
