I don’t think it plays too prominently in the first season. We didn’t want to pretend that it doesn’t exist because it absolutely does in this day, so there are little elements of it, but our goal was to show these friendships and to be in their world, rather than [that of any homophobic] people outside of their circle.”

Now you can see why their is so much hair in the show. Argh!
JdJ
yum, he looks hot!
Stache1
@Ron Jackson: Sweety there’s a million other shows to watch that feature hairless twinks.

I think Michael Lannan should be more concerned about the appalling ratings for Looking.
Let’s face it: just because you’re gay, it doesn’t mean you’re interesting to the viewer. Also, females don’t want to watch shows where women are not important in men’s lives.
Mel
Entertainment doesn’t play too prominently in the first season either.
KittyLitter
Please do not include AIDs stories either. We have enough of those.

It’s so cute (yet sad) that he thinks that show is getting a second season.
I’ve seen more exciting shows about melting ice bergs.

@jimbryant:
Actually Queer as Folk had a large female audience.
Stache1
@Cam: Stop it. You’re ruining Jimbryant’s point by using facts.
