For Us Weekly, it takes Janet Jackson to create the year's best-selling issue. For Wenner Media cousin Rolling Stone, it takes a gay man like Adam Lambert.
The snake-fueled cover is the music mag's best-selling issue, according to Extra (via The Advocate), though it's unclear just how many issues Lambert's cover moved. On average, RS sells 134,660 copies at the newsstand.
Then again, with fewer music magazines around than ever before, how hard can it be?

Bitter much. LOL.
LOL. I GET IT, AND LOL.
I bought it. It's a great cover and a pretty good article as well, though there was little info in it that I hadn't already surmised. Still, any attention to Lambert is well-spent.
He's so nice and really funny/easy to talk to. His talent is INSANE live. I understand why May, Slash, Zeppelin, Manson etc like him now.
stars become black holes, if we're lucky.
