Jamie Clayton is a male to a 't', by the very physiological definition. There is no amount of surgery, drugs, or gender identity confusion that will ever turn him into a real female. The entire process- with which I'm deeply opposed to for psychological concerns- is more akin to an elaborate 'biological costume' than a genuine transformation.

He was born male, and remains male. If he were in my care, I would've dismissed this gender nonsense as early as possible and referred him to a counselor.

It takes more strength to be comfortable and love yourself, than to waste valuable time worrying about your outward appearance, all the while taking dangerous hormone regimens and undergoing risky procedures in the grips of a self-hating confusion.

Um, Dr. Farrell, SHE is gorgeous and very brave. My best friend since high school had a sex change operation as well. If she had not, she probably would have killed herself. Jamie is happy now and that is all that matters. So good doctor, you can take your narrow minded evaluation and shove it. I thank the stars Jamie was NOT under your care or she would probably be dead now.
