How Long Before You Have a Favorite Real Lesbian of The Real L Word?

Yes, cities including Boston and D.C. held their pride parades over the weekend. But do those cities have homosexual television shows, where actual gay persons date and screw and gossip and bitch, dedicated to them? No, which is why The Real L Word, premiering on Showtime on June 20, is making it all about L.A.

You don’t know about Whitney and Mikey and all the rest just yet, but producer Ilene Chaiken is quickly taking care of that. If you can name all the gals on The Real Housewives of New York, there’s no reason you shouldn’t start thinking of Rose and Tracy as your new BFFs. Or girlfriends. Whichever.
