When Ricky Martin started Twittering photos of him and his twins, he knew he’d attract media attention. He did not think he’d unwittingly star in an ad campaign for a parenting website.
But there he is, in what’s got to be an unauthorized use of his photo, in an web ad for ProudParenting.com. For what it’s worth, it’s a website to support gay couples and their families, and not some stunt page manufactured by the National Organization for Marriage to dupe you into reading lies about how homos make unhealthy family environments.
Then again, should Mr. Martin really be the face of gay parenthood? He is exploiting his children on Twitter for career gain!

Oh but gee whiz, we should NEVER talk about people like Riki Martin, you know, he should have privacy, I mean that’s what all celebs want isn’t it? All celebs who for years push to be on the cover of every magazine, tour around the world, do duets with Madonna, go on TV for every single change in their lives. I mean come on, how rude of anybody to ask about his sexuality, I mean hasn’t he shown us, over the last few decades of fighting to get in front of the TV cameras and every Spanish or English language talk show what a private person he is?

How can you be the face of gay parenting if you haven’t actually said that you’re gay? Or did I miss him coming out?
