The Regulars Comic, from Karl Hampe, is published every Friday on Queerty.

The Regulars Comic is a fun, snarky take on what might happen if a gay, urban attorney burn-out wound up running a coffee bar. It’s an irreverent weekly, web-based look at the silly, sexy, and enraging clash between gay pride and daily prejudice. Visit TheRegularsComic.com for more, and check it out on Facebook.
The only thing funny about this “oh-so-hip” comic is that the creator looks like such a Poindexter.

I think it’s funny, and make sure to read it every week! There’s at least one of us out there.

My series is funnier…and informative. http://rebelcomx.deviantart.com/gallery/27055612

@REBELComx: You need to learn how to draw more facial expressions.

“My series is funnier…and informative.”
No, not really. Derivative artistically, and the “information” is all material that has been circulating among gay men for decades.

Rebelcomx’ cartoons are sort of cool. Good style and background. But, yes, he does have to learn to do different facial expressions. And actually I think a lot of guys still don’t know about those certain tidbits of historical info. As for this Regulars comic: in some cartoons those minimalist drawings work well, but the writing could be better. It’s got that tired old gay ghetto attitude, the token interracial cast, lots of coffee. That’s a yawner. He needs to freshen it up for the modern world.

This wasn’t funny.
