“Start Debating, Stop Hating” is the feisty as-yet-unlaunched new media campaign from the Family Research Council that aims to fight back at the group landing on the Southern Poverty Law Center’s hate group list. Good As You uncovered some spec documents.
Tony Perkins’ goal: Spin the criticism to make SPLC look the bad guys, a rogue group that’s gone from targeting racial bias to “attacking several groups that uphold Judeo-Christian moral views, including marriage as the union of a man and a woman.” Ah yes, anti-gay Christians as the victims. I love this game. And why isn’t there a special edition of Monopoly for it yet?

Wow, there are so many f’d up aspect to this, it’s unreal. From them crying about people being intolerant of their intolerance to them uttering “start debating” when they 99% of their debates are either filled with half-truths our flat-out lies.
I, for one, would make a wager with Mr. Perkins. If he could pass a peter-meter test while viewing gay porn then I would stop having sex for the rest of my life, however if he fails he needs to STFU for good.

you can clearly tell that no artist of the english language has ever belonged to that organization. cadence and functionality (as in, you generally have to stop bad behavior before you start new, good behavior) scream that the two should be reversed. i failed english 101 in college and can tell you that!
to put a better face on things, its annoying but nice to see everything that the left has been saying for the last hundred years parroted back by these morons( sarah palin’s ‘feminism’ for example). They’re unable to call us depraved and sinful any longer, so they try to say that our subversion of their oppression is oppression itself.

If the surest sign somebody is losing the debate is “Character Assasination” as Perkins claims, then they have already lost it. They call gays all types of names. So thank you Perkins, by your own rules, apparantly you’re losing.
